ASSOCIATE ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

The Associate Artistic Director serves as a key member of Studio Theatre Worcester's artistic leadership team, supporting the Artistic Director in advancing the organization's artistic vision and strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Artistic Director, the Associate Artistic Director provides leadership across productions, artistic initiatives, and organizational planning while developing the skills and experience necessary to assume increasing artistic leadership responsibilities over time. While the Artistic Director retains final authority over artistic decisions, the Associate Artistic Director serves as a trusted advisor, collaborator, and thought partner in shaping the artistic direction of Studio Theatre Worcester.

This position is a VOLUNTEER role. It is intentionally designed as a leadership development role. The Associate Artistic Director is expected to grow in responsibility throughout their tenure, progressively assuming greater operational oversight of artistic programs as determined by the Artistic Director.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, engagement, and retention of volunteers across Studio Theatre Worcester’s productions, events, and community initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Education and Community Engagement, this role ensures that volunteers have meaningful, well-organized experiences that support the Theatre’s mission while building a strong and sustainable volunteer community.

This position is a VOLUNTEER role. The Volunteer Coordinator plays a key role in connecting community members to Studio Theatre Worcester’s work and fostering a positive, inclusive, and rewarding volunteer culture.

AUDITIONS

​Studio Theatre Worcester holds auditions on a show-by-show basis. Audition calls are announced here on our website, on social media and via our digital newsletter. We currently do not have any upcoming auditions, but check back soon for more opportunities!

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are crucial to non-profit organizations and the impact you have is monumental. While these positions are unpaid, volunteers often receive other benefits such as tickets to shows, swag, etc. as well as connection to the STW community.
